The annual buddies trip, upgraded
Same crew every year, new courses every time — with a house that becomes the 19th hole and per-person pricing that ends the spreadsheet era.
Build your packageEvery great buddies trip has the same architecture: golf in the morning, grill smoke in the afternoon, cards at night, zero decisions made by committee. Las Vegas adds what Myrtle Beach and Scottsdale can't — 22 championship courses, direct flights from everywhere, and a city to fall back on when someone insists.
The house is what makes it a tradition instead of a trip. One kitchen for the 6am coffee crew, one pool for the shade-throwing recap, one card table that runs past midnight. Nobody retreats to a hotel room; that's the whole point.
Build a rotation, not a repeat
The valley's 22 courses split neatly into tiers, which makes an annual rotation easy: one bucket-list round you rotate yearly (Cascata one year, Paiute's Wolf the next, Bali Hai the year after), one mid-tier crowd-pleaser, and one value round for getaway day. Five years in, you still haven't repeated a course — try that in most golf towns.
The trip-captain's cheat sheet
- Book golf before flights — consecutive tee times sell out weeks before airfare moves
- Go Sunday–Thursday if you can: homes run dramatically cheaper than weekends
- October–November and March–May are postcard weather; June–September is half-price golf with 7am tee times
- Collect once: our per-person price includes the house, the golf, taxes and fees — send one number, not a ledger
- Put the best cook on grill duty and the best golfer on tee-time strategy; never the same guy
What the math looks like
Eight guys, three nights, two rounds each: a 5-bedroom pool home plus golf typically lands around $300–$500 per person all-in depending on season and course tier — less than most of the group spends on a football weekend, for three days you'll talk about all year.
The classic 3-night rotation
- 1Day 1 — Arrive · afternoon warm-up 18 (Las Vegas National) · grill night at the house
- 2Day 2 — Morning 36 for the sickos, 18 for the sane (Revere or Paiute) · pool · cards
- 3Day 3 — The marquee round (rotate yearly: Cascata → Wolf → Bali Hai) · steak dinner
- 4Day 4 — Coffee on the patio · settle the bets · fly home

What group size works best?
Eight and twelve are the magic numbers — two or three foursomes, homes built exactly for that size, easy splits. But we host everything from a foursome to 25.
Can we do the same trip every year with different courses?
That's the ideal use. With 22 courses in the collection you can rotate the marquee round for years without repeating — and we keep your group's history so next year takes five minutes to book.
Weekday or weekend trip?
Sunday–Thursday if the group can swing it: homes cost dramatically less, tee sheets are open, and the courses are quieter. Weekend trips work — just book 45+ days out.
How do the bets and side games usually go?
That's your jurisdiction. We'll just note that several homes have putting greens, which have settled more than one carryover.
