When to Golf in Las Vegas: Month-by-Month Prices, Weather & Crowds
Green fees in Las Vegas can drop 50% by season. A month-by-month breakdown of weather, prices, crowds, and the big events that triple hotel rates.

Timing is the single biggest lever on the cost of a Las Vegas golf trip. The same course, same tee time, same cart can cost $95 in July and $209 in March. Here's the honest month-by-month picture — weather, prices, and the event weeks to avoid (or embrace).
The golden windows: March–May and October–November
This is postcard Vegas golf — 70s and 80s, zero rain, perfect turf. It's also peak pricing: green fees run 15% or more above baseline and the best morning slots sell out weeks ahead. If you're coming in these windows, book early and consider Sunday–Thursday stays, when homes run dramatically cheaper than weekends.
The value play: June–September
Yes, it's hot — but summer golf in Vegas is a genuine insider move. Green fees drop 35–50% valley-wide, tee sheets open up, and the heat is very manageable with a 6:30–8:00 a.m. start (it's a dry heat, and you'll be done by noon and in the pool by 12:30). Lodging is cheapest of the year too. A group that plays summer mornings gets top-tier courses at half price.
Winter (December–February): the sneaky-good season
Daytime highs in the high 50s to mid 60s — sweater golf, not parka golf. Prices sit at shoulder levels and courses are quiet. Just check the events calendar first (see below), and know that frost delays occasionally push morning tee times back an hour.
Event weeks that change everything
- CES (early January): 100k+ attendees, hotel & home rates spike hard
- Super Bowl weekend (February): rooms triple, courses stay surprisingly playable
- March Madness (mid-March): the rowdiest golf weekend of the year
- EDC (mid-May): North Las Vegas traffic becomes a factor
- F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix (late November): the Strip closes at night; avoid unless you're going
- NFR (early December): cowboy hats on every tee box, homes book out early
Our package pricing already reflects all of this — pick your dates and you'll see live, season-adjusted pricing for both the golf and the home. If your dates are flexible, moving one week can save a group of eight four figures.
